If you are one of those people where your worst days Golf is better than your best day at work you may be interested to learn about the long established Golf section of the sports and social club, UNIgolf.
For those of you that are interested but have not played with us before this is an annual 2 day event (usually held in September) where national and regional colleagues along with invited “guests” play for individual and team trophies in a friendly and not too competitive atmosphere.
Golf is played (we all hope) on Thursday afternoon (Individual competition) and Friday morning (Team competition) interspersed with food and drink (and drink) and an evening meal and the main prize giving on Thursday.
Each year at our AGM a region (usually a keen volunteer) agrees to host next year’s competition.
